Very cool and unusual vintage piece featuring a deep blue/teal, gemstone-like appearance. It is solid, extremely heavy, and weighs just over 6 lbs, measuring approximately 7.5” in diameter and 2” thick.
I was told by the previous owner that this belonged to her father and had been in the family for many years. No maker’s marks or identifying markings were found, so the exact age and material are unknown.
Likely intended as an ashtray, though it could also be used as an incense holder, catch-all, or decorative piece.
Condition: Shows age and use, including some burn marks, small chips/dings, and surface scratches. Overall it remains solid, intact, and displays beautifully.
