Large tri-lobed black tole planter, hand-painted all the way around with a moody river landscape: figures, a tower, boats, fishermen and distant hills. Gilt rim, faux black-and-gold marble base. Weighted base for stability. A beautiful statement piece for a mantel, console or entry.
Condition: very good. Light scuffs and a few small paint flecks on the base. The interior floor has some wear and green oxidation around the center fitting. See photos.
Size: approx. 15" L × 8" W
