Vintage Halcyon Days Enamels Pastoral Sheep Trinket Box – EnglandCharming vintage Halcyon Days Enamels hinged box featuring a wonderfully detailed pastoral scene of sheep grazing in the English countryside.The domed lid depicts a flock of sheep among rolling green hills, trees and grasses beneath a pale blue sky, surrounded by a delicate decorative leaf border. The pastoral decoration continues around the sides of the box.The box has traditional gold-tone metal mounts, hinge and clasp. When opened, the underside of the lid reveals an additional delicate black-line pastoral sheep illustration.
