Pre-owned vintage condition with noticeable age-related wear. Has scratches, scuffs, paint loss, oxidation/rust around the rims and bottom, and general surface wear throughout. Original vintage H.W. Lay & Company 1-pound potato chip metal advertising tin with original red lid.
Features the classic early Lay’s logo, potato mascot, blue/red graphics, and Lay’s/Fritos advertising on the reverse.
This is an authentic older advertising piece with plenty of original character and patina. It shows obvious wear from age and use, including surface scratches, scuffs, discoloration, oxidation/rust, paint loss and wear around the seams, rims and bottom. The interior also shows age/storage wear.
Despite the condition, the graphics remain readable and the tin still makes a great display piece for collectors of Lay’s, Frito-Lay, vintage advertising, general store memorabilia, snack-food advertising or old kitchen tins.
