Vintage Grove Sign Co. Official Brake Adjusting Station porcelain enamel advertising sign. Great piece of automotive service station / garage history.
Sign measures approximately 26” tall x 22” wide and is made of heavy steel construction. Magnet sticks strongly. Finish has a glossy porcelain-like enamel surface with a noticeable raised feel between the blue and yellow color transitions. Chipped areas show glass-like enamel loss with steel underneath, consistent with vintage porcelain enamel signs.
Displays very well with bright blue and yellow colors. Shows expected age and use including scratches, edge wear, mounting hole wear, small dents, rust at exposed chips, and enamel loss as shown in photos.
