Print analysis:
This is a small gelatin silver snapshot print on photographic paper, not a postcard. The handwritten caption "Grindelwald Cafe 1931" and numeric stamp suggest a private photograph from a personal album rather than a later reproduction. The image tone, paper surface and subject matter fit an early 1930s amateur print made close to the time of exposure. Based on these factors it is best classified as a Type 1 original photo, printed c1931.
