Vintage “Kargo” or “Card Golf” card game, manufactured in England by Castell Brothers Ltd. of 184 Strand, London, under the Pepys Stationery name.
Dating from approximately 1935–36, this charming British card game recreates a round of golf at the card table. The cards feature colourful period illustrations of traditional playing-card characters driving, putting, landing in bunkers and encountering other golfing situations.
The game is designed for 2, 3 or 4 players, and no knowledge of golf is required.
