Up for sale is an authentic vintage single-sided porcelain GTE (General Telephone & Electronics) sign. Measuring approximately 25+ inches tall by 10 inches wide, this was originally a side panel for a public telephone booth.
The sign features the iconic blue and white GTE logo (used from the 1970s until the merger into Verizon) along with the classic telephone handset graphic. The porcelain has a fantastic high-gloss finish that really catches the light—perfect for a collector who appreciates that "glassy" porcelain look.
This sign is in excellent vintage condition.
Surface: Very clean field with deep, vibrant blue color and excellent gloss.
Edges: Minor porcelain "flea bites" around the mounting holes and edges, which is standard for an authentic retired sign.
Back: Clean blue porcelain on the reverse (single-sided design).
