Charming vintage East German wooden woodland scene featuring two deer beside a tall evergreen tree and a smaller matching tree, mounted on a square wooden base. The display measures approximately 4.25 inches tall with a 2 × 2 inch base.
The bottom is stamped“Made in German Democratic Republic,”identifying its East German origin. One deer stands with its head raised and ears upright, while the other bends down in a grazing pose. Their angular wooden forms feature small black eyes and noses. Warm brown tones and visible wood grain give the scene a rustic appearance.
The evergreen trees feature delicate curled wood shavings with green-tinted accents, characteristic of traditional Erzgebirge-style folk art. The layered branches add texture and height to this miniature forest display.
A lovely collectible for enthusiasts of vintage German wooden miniatures, GDR memorabilia, and woodland décor.
