This is a classic military MX-991/U right-angle flashlight (commonly referred to as an angle-head torch). Originally developed for the US military during the mid-20th century, this distinct L-shaped design allows soldiers to clip the light onto tactical vests, webbing, or pockets for hands-free illumination.
