Vintage French Faisselle Cheese Mold Stoneware Pottery Strainer Farmhouse SIGNED For Sale

I bought this many, many years ago because it intrigued me. I was never able to figure out what it was (I thought it might be for pickles), but I continued to hang on to it. I was ready to donate it when my husband offered to research it. Lo and behold, he found that it is a French Faisselle Cheese mold! This Faisselle is in EXCELLENT condition! There are two tiny places on the bottom rim that could be chips or they could be mold marks. There are no chips on the rim. It is marked with a \"10\" on the bottom, as seen in the pictures. It has some sort of black mark on the rim (see pictures). The piece measures 4.75\" tall by 5 7/8\" in diameter on the top. If you measure the diameter on the bottom, it measures 5 1/2\". Please check out the pictures and email with questions.
