Welcome! Here is a Vintage French Fleuer Bleue Metis Linen Bed Sheet Set, still in the original packaging. Included is a flat classic ladderwork top sheet and a plain flat bottom sheet, measuring220 cmx 310 cmor 86.6 in. x122 in. They\'re heavy weighing over 7 1/2 lbs.
These sheets are in excellent unused condition with their original labels. I see some age/storage marks on the back so there may be more throughout the sheet. I have not taken them out of the package and opened them up. They can be soaked to remove the starch and then simply wash them in your washing machine. The more you wash them they will become whiter and softer. The Metis fabric is an unbleached ecru color made of a linen-cotton mix. The warp is pure cotton, and the weft is pure linen.
Metis is a traditional French fabric used for bedding, upholstery, crafting, and embroidery to name a few. It takes on dye beautifully. The Fleur Bleue name is a guarantee of excellence and there\'s a lot of excellence here to work with!
