Welcome! Here is a Vintage French Fleuer Bleue Metis Linen Bed Top Sheet, still in the original packaging. Included is a flat classic ladderwork top sheet, measuring220 cmx 325 cmor 86.6 in. x127.95 in. There are two available in this listing. This sale is for one.
These sheets are in excellent unused condition with their original labels. I do not see any age/storage marks but there may be some within the sheet. I have not taken them out of their packages and opened them up. They can be soaked to remove any starch and then simply wash them in your washing machine. The more you wash them they will become whiter and softer. The Metis fabric is quite white already, made of a linen-cotton mix. The warp is pure cotton, and the weft is pure linen.
Metis is a traditional French fabric used for bedding, upholstery, crafting, and embroidery to name a few. It takes on dye beautifully. The Fleur Bleue name is a guarantee of excellence and there's a lot of excellence here to work with!
