Vintage French Copper Cookware Lot 37 lb Mauviel Kitchen Kapers 5 Pots 3 Lids For Sale

Large vintage French copper cookware lot consisting of 5 pots/pans and 3 lids, with a combined weight of approximately 37 lb 1.7 oz.

These are substantial, heavy copper cooking pieces with silver-colored interiors consistent with traditional tin lining and riveted handles. The cookware shows extensive vintage use and has been left largely unpolished, retaining its aged copper patina.

One saucepan is clearly stamped:

I contacted Kitchen Kapers directly regarding the cookware. Their customer service representative stated that she spoke with the owner, who confirmed that the pots were made by Mauviel. Their response also specifically stated that the owner did not recognize the lid shown to them. A screenshot of that correspondence is included with the listing photos.

Another pan is separately marked MADE IN FRANCE. The remaining pieces do not have maker marks that I have located, so I am not independently attributing every individual piece to Mauviel beyond the information provided by Kitchen Kapers.

Condition

Vintage used cookware condition throughout.

The cookware has not been professionally restored or retinned. I have not evaluated the remaining lining thickness or current food-safety suitability of each piece. Buyers intending to cook with these should inspect the lining and determine whether cleaning or professional retinning is needed before use.

The combination of the heavy construction, French markings, Kitchen Kapers provenance, and direct written confirmation tying the Kitchen Kapers pieces to Mauviel is the strongest part of this lot. I would include the email screenshot fairly early in the photo sequence—probably immediately after the overall lot photos and maker-mark photos.
