This is a long professional fire-service pole featuring a yellow shaft, black wrapped upper grip area and a heavy metal double-ended hook/pulling head. The two sides of the head have different profiles for pulling, prying and opening building materials during firefighting and overhaul operations.
Approximate Features:
- Overall length: approximately 6 feet — please see measurement photos
- Yellow shaft, believed to be fiberglass
- Heavy-duty metal double-ended overhaul/pulling head
- Long black grip/wrapped section at opposite end
- There is a worn label still present on the shaft, this came from a FD called the Westwood Engine 16
- Genuine retired/used fire-service equipment
Condition:
Used former fire-department equipment showing substantial normal service wear. The metal head has surface rust/oxidation, paint loss, scratches and other signs of use. Shaft has scratches, scuffs and cosmetic wear. Black grip/wrap shows age and wear. Original department property label is worn but remains readable.
I have not restored, repainted or refinished the tool, so it retains its as-retired fire-service appearance and original department markings.
Please review all photographs carefully as they are an important part of the description and show the exact item and condition you will receive.
Great piece for a firefighter, retired firefighter, firehouse collection, firefighting memorabilia collection, apparatus/tool display, man cave, fire museum or collector of vintage emergency-service equipment.
