Vintage Favorite Stove & Range No 10 Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot Restored Condition For Sale

This is aFavorite Stove and Range Company No 10 cast iron Dutch oven pot inrestored condition. Favorite cast ironproducts were only made for a few years and are now about 90 to 100 years old(1916-35). Because Favoritewas in operation for such a short time, most of their pieces are harder to findthan the corresponding Griswold piece.This pot is in wonderful condition for its age.The cooking surface has some utensil scores and very fine etching from corrosion towards the outer edges. These are undetectable asyou glide your finger over a near glass smooth surface. Pot has movement on a granite surface (see photos) and is not recommended for use on a ceramic stovetop. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Item wasstripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysistreatments. This process ensures the removal all residue from previous usemaking it safe to use once more. Item is lightly seasoned with one round ofCrisco at 450 for 1 hours. This item were photographed in very bright light tohighlight fine details.
