Up for sale is a rare collectible mechanical desktop pencil sharpener FTE Modell 120, manufactured in Germany by Feintechnik GmbH Eisfeld (circa 1930s–1950s).
Features & Condition: • Material: Dark brown/black solid Bakelite body with polished chrome-plated metal front & mechanism. • Completeness: Complete set including the original removable Bakelite shavings drawer/tray. • Cosmetic Condition: Excellent vintage condition for its age. (please see detailed photos). • Working Condition: The mechanical crank and auto-feeding mechanism turn smoothly. Tested on a pencil — it sharpens, but the cylindrical rotary cutter blades are dull/worn due to age and need adjustment or sharpening for optimal daily use. Sold primarily as a rare vintage desk collectible / display piece.
Dimensions approx: 12 cm (H) x 10 cm (D) x 7 cm (W) / Base ~ 100mm x 70mm.
