Vintage Ethan Allen Mantle/Shelf Clock w/German Urgos Movement 17 1/2\" Tall For Sale

A vintage Ethan Allen shelf (or mantel) clock with a German Urgos movement. 17 1/2 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches wide at base and 7 inches deep at base. Original retail price $149 in the late 1970s. Excellent quality wood finish which we have appropriately cleaned with an organic cleaner and then applied a high quality paste wax bringing out the rich luster of the wood.
We have cleaned and judiciously lubricated the movement (we use only Whitlock\'s clock oil). This movement\'s strike is self-adjusting for the hour. Strikes on the hour and half hour with a pleasing tone to the gong. Key included. Pre-packing weight is 9.5 lbs.
