An exquisite piece of mid-century vanity history. This vintage Stratton of England "Queen Convertible" powder compact dates to the late 1950s (circa 1956–1959). It features a striking, high-gloss cobalt blue enamel lid decorated with an elegant Chinoiserie motif of white bamboo stalks and a golden-accented flying butterfly.
This beautiful piece is vintage and preowned and in excellent condition. Contains residual powder. May show wear consistent with age, use and storage.
