Vintage Egyptiennes Cardboard Empty Cigarette Box - Egypt Ed. Laurens For Sale

The small, cardboard cigarette boxis in nice 1910\'s-1920\'s vintage condition.I\'m not an expert, but from my research and translation on the box. It appears that they were made in the early1900\'s in Egypt and were thesupplier for France. Le Khedive is apparently the title of theviceroy of Egyptunder Turkish rule 1897-1914. ED.Laurens I believe was the name of the company that made them. The box has edge wear with some small areaswith torn paper. There is also overalldiscoloration but the box is still intact. (which I think is prettyremarkable) There is a torn in half stampon one side. The empty box measures 4 7/8 in.long, 2 3/8 in. wide, and 3/4 in. high.
