Vintage Egret Wooden Sculpture On Driftwood Large, Signed By R Scheeley 1998 For Sale

This vintage sculpture of an egret on a driftwood root, signed by artist Lee R Scheeley, is a large and intricate piece from the late 20th century. Made of wood with natural finish, the sculpture features hand-carving & painting of an egret on an authentic driftwood root. Measuring 9 inches in length and 17 inches in height, this original piece was manufactured in the United States in 1998.

The artist, Lee Scheeley, worked out of the great state of Virginia and passed away about 20 years ago or so. This piece was produced in 1998 and has the artist stamp, full signature, as well as the date and location where the sculpture was produced. In addition to all that provenance, the Store’s tag from the original sale remains attached to the sculpture. There is a small (7mm) chip in the lower left side of the egret’s bill that can’t be seen from the right side.
