Vintage EVERSHARP by PARKER Point 7 Tip-Wic Soft Point Fountain Pen 1965 For Sale

Offered for your consideration is a stunning vintage EVERSHARP by PARKER model Point 7 Tip-Wic soft point fountain pen, made in the USA for Lilly Pharmaceuticals Darvon division. This rare and splendid pen was marketed only in 1965 and this example is unused collector stock, complete with box and everything it came with when new almost 50 years ago! As you probably know, PARKER bought EVERSHARP in 1958 and used their new company for testing innovative products in the marketplace. Most notably, the cartridge/converter filling system first carried over to their model 45 fountain pen and the “porosyn”-pointed Tip-Wic which was one of the first, if not the first, soft-pointed pens. The Point*7 which carried this tip is practically identical to Parker’s 45 from this era, aside from having a different clip. Anyways, please see the large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this rare and desirable EVERSHARP by PARKER pen is suitable for your collection. Since this Point*7 Tip-Wic has never been used or even filled, it’s in pristine condition. Aside from some light age spots on the box and packaging, everything’s perfect! It features a chrome-plated aluminum alloy cap with stainless steel clip, white plastic resin upper barrel with black lower section and measures just under 5⅜” capped (5⅝” posted) x ½” at widest. Overall,it’s remarkably shiny and presents beautifully! What’s more, it comes complete with the two original PARKER Super Quink ink cartridges, two extra porosyn points in a little vial, the owner’s instructional papers, and a Lilly card describing the various compounds of Darvon; an opioid pain reliever.
My family loves to recycle or re-purpose vintage and antique items. We try to find them loving homes where they are not stuck in a drawer or box, nor put into the trash.
