Vintage Durham Duplex Dorset Razor 1940s DE Safety Razor No. 200 with Box, Case, Instructions, and 5 Blades
This set is from the ~1940s, the bottom of the carton says \"Copyright, 1947 DURHAM-ENDERS RAZOR CORP. MSTYIC, CONN.\" It\'s \"The New Dorset for Outdoor Beards.\"
Included in the set:

• Plastic clamshell type case with the original $1 price sticker

• The paper instructions that say \"This Blade has what it takes for outdoor beards\"
• The paper advertisement for other Durham-Enders Razor Corporation products, with a tear off and mail order form

Condition:

• The red paperboard carton has seen better days. It\'s torn up, has tape on it, has writing on it to cross off \"10\" blades.
• The plastic case has some scuffs, but I don\'t see any cracks and the hinge and latch still work. The hinge does seem to catch a tiny bit though.
• I am almost certain that this razor is unused (it still has the little cardstock instruction insert that went into the head of the razor), but it does have some film/buildup on the surface that I think would wipe off easily.
• Since I believe the razor blades are new and unused, I do not want to open them up to verify the contents and break the seal, so I cannot guarantee the condition of the blades.
• Both the paper instructions and advertisement/order form are in decent shape, they have some creases but no tears as far as I can see.
• Shelf wear and signs of age consistent with a piece of this vintage.
