Vintage Duchess 1d Penny Slot Machine Wulff Beromat Mechanism Lights Up/REPAIR For Sale

Vintage Duchess 1d British penny mechanical fruit/slot machine, believed to date from around the early 1960s.This unusual machine uses a traditional mechanical three-reel fruit mechanism associated with the Günter Wulff / Beromat style of machines and is configured for the old British 1d penny. The machine is substantially complete and makes an excellent restoration project, display piece or collector\'s machine.CURRENT OPERATING CONDITIONThe machine powers on and lights up.The three reel wheels are capable of spinning/moving. To demonstrate this, photographs are included showing the three reels in different positions. The side lever does NOT currently operate the machine correctly. Pulling the lever does not initiate the normal mechanical operating cycle.I suspect that a catch, release, linkage or related mechanical component may require adjustment or repair, but I have not diagnosed the problem and cannot guarantee that this is the cause.Because of this, the machine is being sold AS-IS for repair/restoration.Coin acceptance, payout operation, winning-combination payout and complete mechanical sequencing have not been verified.FEATURESVintage Duchess mechanical fruit machineOld British 1d penny coin entryThree mechanical fruit reelsSide operating leverIlluminated front displayOriginal-style fruit graphicsMechanical reel and payout assemblyExtensive original internal linkage, springs, shafts and hardwareVintage payout trayReel-strip marking visible for B.
