Up for sale is a fantastic, complete vintage example of the classic "Double Locked Box Mystery" (Lippincott style) nesting boxes magic illusion. This close-up and stage prop set is in great vintage condition and comes complete with its hard-to-find original packaging and printed routine paperwork!
The Effect:
The magician borrows a small, valuable item from an audience member (such as a signed dollar bill, coin, or wedding band) and vanishes it into thin air. The performer then introduces a completely locked outer wooden chest. The spectator is given the keys to unlock it themselves. Upon opening the outer chest, they find a second, smaller locked box nested inside. When the spectator unlocks the inner box, they discover their exact signed/borrowed item safely inside! Both boxes can be fully examined by the audience.
