Up for sale is a fantastic, highly complete Vintage Dietz No. 2 D-Lite Tubular Kerosene Lantern. Proudly stamped "DIETZ N.Y. U.S.A." and "No. 2 D-LITE" on the metal frame. This piece features its highly desirable, original clear glass globe embossed with "LOC-NOB REGD IN U.S.A.". The unique Loc-Nob design includes the characteristic glass nubs that lock cleanly into the wire framing.CONDITION REPORT:- Globe: Excellent vintage condition. Clear glass, no visible cracks or heavy chips. Embossing is crisp and fully legible.- Metal Body: Displays a beautiful, authentic weathered gray patina with typical minor surface oxidation/rust spots consistent with age.
