Vintage pair of Dutch Delft-style windmill salt and pepper shakers featuring blue and white hand-painted ceramic bodies with hallmarked 835 silver metal windmill blades and decorative silver trim.The silver windmill blade assembly is clearly hallmarked 835, indicating 83.5% silver. Both windmills feature movable decorative blades, traditional Dutch blue-and-white decoration, and original cork stoppers on the bottoms.Approximately 3 1/4 inches tall overall, including the windmill blades.Condition is vintage/pre-owned with age-related wear, tarnish and patina to the silver, and normal surface wear to the ceramic. One cork stopper shows splitting from age.
