Vintage DeVilbiss Red Frosted Glass Push Top Perfume Atomizer Made in Italy For Sale

Beautiful vintage DeVilbiss perfume atomizer, retaining its original DeVilbiss and Made in Italy paper labels on the underside.This unusual design features a substantial rounded body of deep ruby-red frosted glass with gold-tone hardware and an ornate filigree setting surrounding a large matching red glass cabochon.The decorative cabochon is also the push-top mechanism — press the top downward to dispense the perfume. A clever and elegant alternative to the traditional squeeze-bulb atomizer.The bottle has a wonderful mid-century Italian vanity-table look and displays beautifully.Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear. Some light marks to the glass and wear/tarnish to the metal are visible. Original underside labels have age and paper loss but remain identifiable. Push-down dispensing mechanism operates.
