Up for sale is a highly collectible, vintage mid-century desk paperweight commemorating Saudi Arabia’s historic Dammam No. 7 Well—the legendary "Well of Goodness" that first struck commercial oil in 1938.
Molded in clear lucite/acrylic to resemble an oil drum, this official Aramco-era souvenir features an intricately etched map of the Persian Gulf region on the top cap. Encased inside is a perfectly sealed, dark amber glass vial containing actual Saudi Arabian Light Crude Oil.
Dimensions: Stands approximately 3.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide.
Text on Front: "DAMMAM 'No. 7' / LIGHT CRUDE OIL / SAUDI ARABIA"
Condition: The internal glass oil capsule is completely intact with no leaks, clouding, or fluid evaporation. The clear acrylic remains bright and highly transparent but there are areas of surface scratching. I intentionally photoed it in high light to display the scratches. The screen-printed text on the front has faded in areas. The map on top is crisp and clear.
