Beautiful and substantial Dale Tiffany floor lamp featuring an impressive approximately 24-inch diameter stained/art-glass floral shade with a rich combination of green, amber, yellow, cream and warm orange glass.
The lamp stands approximately 67 inches tall to the top of the finial. The glass shade itself is approximately 13 inches high, or approximately 19 inches including the finial. Base is approximately 14 inches in diameter. Complete assembled lamp weighs approximately 36 lbs.
The lamp features a substantial antique-bronze-tone metal base and textured organic/tree-like column, along with a three-light socket assembly with individual pull chains. The pull-chain weights are clearly marked DALE®, as shown in the photographs. All three sockets are working.
The large shade is composed of numerous individually fitted pieces of richly varied art glass. One of its particularly attractive characteristics is the movement and continuity of the green glass, with color and striations visually flowing through neighboring pieces rather than appearing randomly assembled.
PROFESSIONAL STAINED-GLASS REPAIR & CONDITION
The shade was recently examined by an experienced stained-glass professional. A localized damaged area along the lower floral edge was professionally repaired in September 2026 at a cost of $265. Detailed before-and-after photographs as well as documentation of the professional repair are included in the listing photos.
After physically examining the shade, the stained-glass professional described it as a very solid, quality piece and specifically commented on the continuity and movement of the glass and the very good condition of the metal/leadwork.
When discussing its value, she stated that she would not go below approximately $800 for the shade alone. This was her verbal professional opinion after personally examining the shade and should not be considered a formal written appraisal.
As can occur with a vintage stained-glass shade of this size, there are several stable hairline cracks in individual pieces of glass. These were examined by the stained-glass professional. She did not recommend replacing every stable cracked piece, as doing so would require extensive and unnecessary reconstruction of the shade.
I have intentionally photographed the lamp extensively, including close-ups of the glass, shade interior, three-light assembly, DALE® markings, base construction, remaining hairlines, and the professionally repaired area so that its condition can be evaluated as accurately as possible.
