This distinct hourglass pedestal silhouette with its frothy, textured tan-and-brown foam crawl glaze is iconic to the M.L. Owens family workshop.The "D" stamp on the bottom stands for David Owens, an accomplished member of the legendary multi-generational Owens potting family who threw and marked pieces for the studio.This piece stands about 7 1/2 inches tall.
There is a chipped area on the bottom underneath side. Pictured.
