Vintage Copeland Spode Gainsborough dinnerware collection, pattern S245, made in Great Britain.This classic English floral pattern features a lush arrangement of roses and garden flowers in pink, yellow, blue, purple and green against a warm ivory/white ground. The scalloped and molded edges give the pieces a wonderful traditional English-country look.The Gainsborough pattern was introduced by Spode in 1933 and was based on the floral work of noted Spode artist Harry Hammersley.
