This is a preowned fine pewter Chilmark 1976 sculpture on a wood base. This piece by Brian Rodden.The piece is numbered 1435 underneath.
THE HORSE IS VERY LOW TO THE WOODEN BASE. LOOKING AT THE HORSE FROM THE BACK,
IT LOOKS LIKE THE HORSE IS GOING TO FALL DOWN. COMPARING IT TO OTHERS LISTED, THE
OTHERS HAVE THE HORSE HIGHER UP. I GUESS EACH ONE IS ONE OF A KIND. THERE IS NOTHING
THAT CAN BE DONE TO LIFT THE HORSE HIGHER. BEING SOLD AS IS, IN A LOW POSE. THIS IS
THE WAY THEY FORMED THE PEWTER FOR THIS ONE.

The piece weighs about 1 pound 11 ounces.The bottom of the wood base and top does have scratches on it.The pewter is attached to the wooden base and cannot be removed.The artist\'s name is engraved by the back leg of the horse.It says Brian Rodden 1977.The item does not come with a box.
The item comes from a smoke free home.The black plastic box is only for taking pictures. It is not included.
