Vintage Channel Master Model 6515 “Super Fringe” 8-transistor portable radio.

The radio was partially tested and powers on, producing a substantial amount of static. Both knobs turn and function, and the volume control affects the sound/static. No stations were received during testing. No further testing was performed and full functionality is not guaranteed.

Cosmetically, the radio is in nice overall vintage condition. The front presents very well. The clear dial cover has two visible scratches, and the surrounding metal trim has some scratches and general wear. There are also some scratches on the top of the radio. The bottom-right rear corner of the cabinet has a chip.

Inside the radio, the ferrite antenna rod appears to be split/cracked. Please see photos for its exact condition.

Includes the original leather carrying case with strap. The case is intact and presents nicely from the front, although the back has tape and tape residue. Also includes the headphone case with headphones, original 90-day warranty paperwork, original Styrofoam packaging, and original Channel Master box. The box shows age and storage wear.
