While somewhat difficult to find it’s a trip well worth making for the vast array of ceramic products. The owner Mario took us on a tour of his shop pointing out all the products he can make. He has a huge supply of painted tiles and can custom make any of his designs with your family name, have it kiln finished and ready to be picked up in a day or two. A very friendly gentleman, Mario gave us a copy of a book he published detailing the island festivals. He even autographed the book for us. Not to be missed if you have any interest in ceramics, I would highly recommend Ceramica da Praia.
