Vintage Ceramic Anthropomorphic Duck Salt and Pepper Shakers Set Japan MCM 1950s For Sale

About This SetThis is a charming vintage mid-century figural ceramic shaker set featuring a pair of anthropomorphic white ducks or geese. They are styled in distinct, non-identical poses—one stands calmly looking down with its beak closed, while the other stands with its beak open as if it is quacking or singing. They are hand-painted with a soft white-and-grey shaded glaze, bright yellow beaks and webbed feet, and prominent, long black eyelashes. The unglazed bases and natural cork plugs highlight their mid-century heritage. They fit perfectly into retro kitsch kitchens, country farmhouse decor, or vintage anthropomorphic collections.
