★ Vintage Lefton Lady Planter ★
A ceramic lady in a green overskirt and a pale blue gown, holding a little pink rose. Her skirt opens into a planter, so she can hold a small plant or just sit on a shelf. Her hair is swept up, with braids falling over her shoulders.
She is 7.25 inches tall, 5.75 inches wide, and 4.75 inches from front to back. The original red foil sticker is still on the bottom, and it reads Lefton Trade Mark Exclusives Japan. That label was used from about 1960 into the early 1980s.
Good vintage condition. Her face, the rose, and the opening all look clean, and I do not see any cracks. The brown edge along the hem is worn in places, and there is a small rough spot at the front of the skirt. The green overskirt has a little rubbing in the folds.
