Up for sale is a vintage Castello Sea Rock Briar estate pipe. This is a handmade piece from Cantu, Italy, featuring their famous heavy rustic finish. It has the KKKK stamp on the shank, which is Castello\'s code for an extra-large/giant size bowl.
RARE COLLECTOR STAMP:The shank features a very clear, stamped \"Kino\" inside an oval. This is a highly collectible signature stamp honoring Franco \"Kino\" Coppo, who led Castello for decades. Pipes bearing this direct stamp are sought after by collectors for their craftsmanship and relative scarcity. The black acrylic stem is an original hand-cut mouthpiece and is in excellent condition. It has a faint, worn \"Hand Made\" factory stamping.
Condition Details: The pipe is in excellent used condition. The rusticated finish is crisp and the rim is clean. The chamber is smooth with a light layer of cake inside.
I am selling this completely uncleaned and untouched, exactly as found, so the new owner can prep it to their own liking. Please look closely at all the photos-including the macro shots of the stamps-to see the exact condition. Let me know if you have any questions!
