Up for sale is an authentic **vintage 1950s–1960s Taylor Automobile Altimeter and Barometer gauge**, manufactured by the famous **Taylor Instrument Companies** in Rochester, New York.
This unique piece of automotive history was acquired directly from an estate sale of a former WWII Military Corporal. The classic black casing features the original embossed factory warning on the reverse side: *"DO NOT MOVE SCREWS"*. It retains its side "U"-shaped mounting base, which was originally used to slide onto a chrome or metal dashboard bracket inside a vintage car, truck, or hot rod.
The front features an adjustable green **0 to 5,000-foot altitude scale** (100 ft. divisions) and a rotating upper **Barometric Pressure Ring** calibrated in inches of mercury (inHg).
