Vintage traditional two blade pocket knife manufactured by the Camillus Cutlery Company in New York USA. Stamped directly with the factory pattern designation number 49 on the secondary blade tang which identifies this model as the classic Camillus Tuxedo pattern. Based on the specific stylized three line italicized factory stamp configuration on the master blade ricasso this knife dates to a manufacturing period spanning from 1960 through 1989. This is a compact vest pocket pattern designed to carry easily for daily routine use. This original American factory manufactured pocket knife is in excellent fully functional vintage condition. The high carbon steel pen blades have been exceptionally well preserved retaining their original factory profile shapes with clean cutting edges and minimal sharpening wear. The steel faces exhibit a bright finish with light natural aging faint storage scuffs and minor superficial tarnish spots as shown. The main pen blade features a crisp long line style nail nick pull with a highly legible Camillus New York USA manufacture stamp at the base. The golden amber faux stag horn style molded Delrin composition handle scales are structurally pristine with no chips cracks or shrinkage.
