The Cambridge Glass Company was founded in Cambridge, Ohio, with production beginning in 1902. It became one of America's premier makers of handmade art glass, known for exceptional craftsmanship, elegant colors, and finely decorated tableware. During its peak years, Cambridge employed hundreds of skilled artisans and produced glass that was sold throughout the United States and internationally.
The chrome mounting was produced by Farber Brothers of New York, founded in 1915 by brothers Louis and Harry Farber. They specialized in decorative chromium-plated metalwork sold under the Krome Kraft name. A common misconception is that they were the same company as Farberware—they were related through family, but they were separate businesses.

Condition
This vintage decanter is in very good pre-owned condition with light wear consistent with age and normal use. The glass presents beautifully with no obvious major damage visible in the photos. The chrome overlay and base show typical vintage wear and remain very attractive. The original Cambridge Glass label is still attached.
