Offered for sale is a set offive vintage woodworking bar clamps, consisting of twoE.C. Stearns & Co.clamps, twoC.T. Co.clamps, and one clamp marked“25A,”which I believe to be a Wetzler based on my research.
These clamps have been in my family for generations. They originally belonged to mygreat-grandfather, were later passed down to mygrandfather, and were recently inherited by me. Based on the markings and my research, I believe they date to approximately theearly 1940s.
The bar lengths range from approximately29.5" to 42.5". All five are used and show signs of age and previous use consistent with vintage woodworking tools. One of the clamps has areplacement pin, which is visible in the photos.
This would make a great set for someone interested invintage woodworking tools, tool collecting, restoration, or simply putting these classic clamps back to use.
