# ITEM DESCRIPTION
**Beautiful 1930s Art Deco Figural "Begging Scottie Dog" Glass Boudoir Lamp**
Up for sale is a charming, genuine Depression-era figural accent lamp. The base features a wonderfully detailed, molded frosted satin glass Scottish Terrier sitting upright on its hind legs in a "begging" posture. It comes complete with its beautiful period-correct vertical beaded/ribbed pink fired-on glass shade.
This is an exceptional restoration project or display piece for Art Deco aficionados, vintage glass collectors, or Scottie dog lovers.

### CONDITION REPORT (Please Read Carefully Before offerding)
1. **GLASS BASE:** The molded frosted glass Scottie dog figurine and upper body are in excellent structural condition. However, there is a prominent shell-shaped (conchoidal) chip along the inside/underside rim of the circular base (see detailed photos). This chip is hidden from view when the lamp is resting flat on a table and does not affect how it stands.
2. **GLASS SHADE:** The pink beaded glass shade is in gorgeous vintage condition with minimal surface wear. No major cracks, chips, or notable flaking on the glass. It is in flawless condition.
3. **ELECTRICAL / WIRING (CRITICAL WARNING):** The original brown cloth-covered cord is extremely brittle, frayed, and split, exposing the raw copper wires at the plug base. The bakelite plug housing is also cracked/broken. It was plugged in to test quickly and powered fine, however it is strongly recommended to replace the cord prior to regular use.
