Vintage Baromer UV Reactive Custard Glass Dial Glow ATCO Made in Germany For Sale

This vintage barometer is a unique source of UV reactive glass with a custard glass dial that glows under 365nm light. Not all barometers from this period have this feature. The body is wood with brass fittings and it has a clear, beveled glass cover over the custard glass face. The dial has indicators for Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair and Very Dry. I\'m not sure if it is functional, however, so you may still have to check the weather forecast elsewhere! The barometer measures approximately 5\" across and the glass face is 3.25\".
