This vintage piece is a Swedish Modern Ruby Red Art Glass Decanter, designed by Bo Borgström for Åseda Glasbruk (Sweden) during the 1960s. It features a distinctive "thumbprint" or "knobbly" sculptural design with a clear glass stopper. Hand-crafted in Sweden at the Åseda glassworks, this piece showcases the iconic mid-century modern aesthetic of Bo Borgström. Heavy, sculptural body with deep thumbprint/knob impressions and a clear glass stopper. Please note the very smooth cosmetic chip on the stopper (picture 6). It cannot be seen when the stopper is in the bottle. Measures 9 1/2" tall (with stopper) and 4 1/2" wide. Weighs 3.8 pounds.
