This is a vintage Antimony & Potassium Tartrate (Tartar Emetic) canister from Merck. Antimony has quite a fascinating history if you look into it. Sir Isaac Newton even believed that it was the key to the philosophers stone! It was used as an emetic and anti parasitic although was abandoned eventually as it is highly poisonous. It does have a poison warning on the side.
