A ribbed amethyst glass perfume atomizer, the fluted cylinder finished with a pale starburst-cut top. The gold filigree collar carries amethyst glass leaves, purple rhinestone florets in gold cups and clear aurora borealis faceted beads. The collar sits on an integral brass pump housing with a side nozzle. A gold mesh-netted bulb with a long gold silk tassel fits the nozzle and is shown fitted in the photographs; it was found separately in the collection, so it may not be the bulb this atomizer was first sold with. The piece carries no mark.

AGE (approximate): No mark is present. The form and fittings are consistent with mid-20th century vanity atomizers.
CONDITION: No chips and no cracks visible. The amethyst glass leaves, rhinestone florets and beads are all intact. There is light tarnish to the brass. The netting and tassel of the bulb are intact.
