This is in good condition and looks lightly used. There are two areas on the top of the lid that the shiny finish is not on. It looks like something may have spilled in those to spots and took it off. The areas are about 1 1/2\" and 2 1/2\" roundish areas. There are some scattered spots on the box with the same type of small spots. the felt on the underside bottom where it touches the table has either minor edge wear or it ws not cut perfectly straight when it was applied. There is a plaque inside with the maker\'s name on it. It has a medium to dark finish. I am not sure of the type of wood this is. Approx. 8 1/4 x 5 1/4\" x 3 3/4\" deep measuring on the outside of the box.
