Vintage circa 1940s Aerolux argon gas glow light bulb paired with a brass tone metal chamberstick style electric lamp base. The clear bulb encases a figural filament of two flowers with leaves that glow orange and green when lit. The lamp base is a sculpted leaf with finger loop. The off-white candle sleeve is accented with a plastic feather plume and a flower that has a rhinestone center. This functioning accent lamp serves as a tabletop nightlight or a distinctive showcase piece for vintage novelty lighting collectors. Base of brass cap on bulb is marked "Aerolux New York" around the glass insulator. Cord is approximately 7' long.
Bulb is in good working order and glows brightly. Metal lamp base has patina & surface wear. Wear and aging on candle sleeve with rim chips to the top edge. Please review all high resolution photographs for details.
