This cheerful blue pig is a slice of mid-century novelty-bank fun, marked for A.N. Brooks Corporation at Chicago\'s Merchandise Mart. Its pre-ZIP-code \'Chicago 54\' address places it before 1963. With its big smile, pink cheeks and open pink mouth, it looks great on a shelf, in a nursery or farmhouse corner, or alongside a collection of vintage piggy banks. Details: light blue/aqua hard molded plastic pig made in two halves joined at a body seam, with a coin slot on the back and a removable white plastic plug on the belly for emptying the savings. The underside is molded \'A.N. BROOKS CORPORATION, MERCHANDISE MART, CHICAGO 54 ILL.\' Dark painted ear tips, snout and hooves. Condition: Used vintage condition with the wear you would expect from decades of saving. The dark paint on the ear tips, snout and hooves is worn, with a few chipped and flaking spots. There is brown staining along the body seam and lower body, and the white bottom plug has a chipped rim and some scratches and scribbles on its face.
